Zoho CRM

Version 25.3.9396

Zoho CRM

You can use the Zoho CRM connector from the CData Sync application to move data from any supported source to the Zoho CRM destination. To do so, you need to add the connector, authenticate to the connector, and complete your connection.

Add the Zoho CRM Connector

To enable Sync to use data from Zoho CRM, you first must add the connector, as follows:

  1. Open the Connections page of the Sync dashboard.

  2. Click Add Connection to open the Select Connectors page.

  3. Click the Destinations tab and locate the Zoho CRM row.

  4. Click the Configure Connection icon at the end of that row to open the New Connection page. If the Configure Connection icon is not available, click the Download Connector icon to install the Zoho CRM connector. For more information about installing new connectors, see Connections.

Authenticate to Zoho CRM

After you add the connector, you need to set the required properties.

On the New Connection page, enter the connection name of your choice.

Complete Your Connection

To complete your connection:

  1. Specify the following properties:

    • Region - Select the region that is associated with the domain of your Zoho CRM server URL. The default region is US.

    • Schema - Select your Zoho CRM version. Each Zoho CRM version has its own data model. Version values are v2, v2.1, and v4 (default).

    • Use COQL (optional) - Select whether you want Sync to use the Query API to retrieve data or whether you want to use another API.

      • Select True (default) to use the Query API. This API uses CRM Object Query Language (COQL) to query data from Zoho CRM.

      • Select False if you want to use another API. When you select False, the API Type drop-down list is displayed. You can choose either Bulk or REST (default) as the API.

  2. Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)

  3. Click Create & Test to create your connection.

Keys for Record Matching

To match records from your source to your Zoho CRM destination, use the following key columns:

  • For upserts: Use either the Zoho system-defined or a custom Duplicate Check column. You can also use the External ID column that you set for a module.

  • For updates: Use either the ID column or the External ID column.

For details about system-defined duplicate-check fields for each module, see the “System-defined Duplicate Check Fields” section in the Zoho CRM Insert or Update Records (Upsert) documentation.

For details about creating an external Id, see “External ID - An Overview in the Zoho CRM Records API using External ID documentation.
