Google Search
You can use the Google Search connector from the CData Sync application to capture data from Google Search and move it to any supported destination. To do so, you need to add the connector, authenticate to the connector, and complete your connection.
Add the Google Search Connector
To enable Sync to use data from Google Search, you first must add the connector, as follows:

Open the Connections page of the Sync dashboard.

Click Add Connection to open the Select Connectors page.

Click the Sources tab and locate the Google Search row.

Click the Configure Connection icon at the end of that row to open the New Connection page. If the Configure Connection icon is not available, click the Download Connector icon to install the Google Search connector. For more information about installing new connectors, see Connections.
Authenticate to Google Search
After you add the connector, you need to set the required properties.
On the New Connection page, enter the connection name of your choice.
Complete Your Connection
To complete your connection:

Specify the following properties:

API Key - Enter your key for the Custom Search API. To locate your API key:

Log in to the Google API console and select a project.

Under APIs & Services, click Library. The, select the Custom Search API and click Enable.

In the side bar, select APIs & Services > Credentials > Create Credentials > API Key.

Select the API key and paste it into the API Key field on this page.

Custom Search Id - Enter the identifier (ID) for the Custom Search engine. To obtain this Id:

Sign into Google Custom Search engine and create a new search engine.

Select Setup > Basics > Search Engine ID in the control panel to locate your custom search Id.

Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)

Click Create & Test to create your connection.
