MYOB
You can use the MYOB connector from the CData Sync application to capture data from MYOB and move it to any supported destination. To do so, you need to add the connector, authenticate to the connector, and complete your connection.
Establish a Connection
To allow Sync to use data from MYOB, you first must establish a connection to MYOB. Follow these steps to connect MYOB to your Sync account:
-
Open the Connections page of the Sync dashboard.
-
Click Add Connection to open the Select Connectors page.
-
Click the Sources tab and locate the MYOB row.
-
Click the Configure Connection icon at the end of that row. If you do not see the Configure Connection icon, you need to add the connector according to the instructions in Connections.
-
Enter connection settings on the Settings tab:
-
Connection Name - Enter a connection name of your choice.
-
Instance - Select the instance type that you want to use when you connect to your MYOB account. The default instance type is Cloud.
-

-
Password - Enter the password that you use to authenticate to your MYOB account.
-
Company File Id - Enter the Id for your company file. Note: If you do not specify an ID, CData Sync specifies the Id of the first returned company file.
-
-
Click Connect to MYOB to connect to your MYOB account.
-
Click Create & Test to create the connection.
-
Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)
