Youtube Analytics
You can use the Youtube Analytics connector from the CData Sync application to capture data from Youtube Analytics and move it to any supported destination. To do so, you need to add the connector, authenticate to the connector, and complete your connection.
Establish a Connection
To allow Sync to use data from Youtube Analytics, you first must establish a connection to Youtube Analytics. Follow these steps to connect Youtube Analytics to your Sync account:
-
Open the Connections page of the Sync dashboard.
-
Click Add Connection to open the Select Connectors page.
-
Click the Sources tab and locate the Youtube Analytics row.
-
Click the Configure Connection icon at the end of that row. If you do not see the Configure Connection icon, you need to add the connector according to the instructions in Connections.
-
Enter connection settings on the Settings tab:
-
Connection Name - Enter a connection name of your choice.
-
Auth Scheme - Select the authentication scheme. The default scheme is OAuth.
-
Channel Id - Enter the identifier of a YouTube channel. If you do not specify a channel, data is returned for the authenticated user’s channel.
-
Content Owner Id - Enter the identifier of the copyright holder for content in YouTube’s rights management system. Specify this identifier if you want to generate content-owner reports.
-
-
Click Connect to Youtube Analytics to connect to your Youtube Analytics account.
-
Click Create & Test to create the connection.
-
Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)
