CData Connect
You can use the CData Connect connector from the CData Sync application to capture data from CData Connect and move it to any supported destination. To do so, you need to add the connector, authenticate to the connector, and complete your connection.
Add the CData Connect Connector
To enable Sync to use data from CData Connect, you first must add the connector, as follows:

Open the Connections page of the Sync dashboard.

Click Add Connection to open the Select Connectors page.

Click the Sources tab and locate the CData Connect row.

Click the Configure Connection icon at the end of that row to open the New Connection page. If the Configure Connection icon is not available, click the Download Connector icon to install the CData Connect connector. For more information about installing new connectors, see Connections.
Authenticate to CData Connect
After you add the connector, you need to set the required properties.

Connection Name - Enter a connection name of your choice.

Auth Scheme - Select your authentication scheme below to proceed to the relevant section for your scheme. Then fill out the settings as specified in that section.

Basic
To connect with your user credentials, set the following properties:

Auth Scheme: Select Basic.

User - Enter the username that you use to authenticate to your CData Connect account.

Password - Enter the password that you use to authenticate to your CData Connect account.

URL - Enter the URL for your CData Connect server.
OAuth
CData Sync provides an embedded OAuth application with which to connect. To use the application, select OAuth for Auth Scheme. No additional properties are required.
Client JWT
To connect with your CData Connect account, set the following properties:

Auth Scheme: Select ClientJWT.

Client JWT Cert - Enter your client Java web tokens (JWT) certificate store.

Client JWT Cert Type - Enter the type of key store that contains your client JWT certificate. The default type is USER.

Client JWT Issuer - Enter the issuer of your client Java web token. Typically, the issuer is either the client identifier or the email address of the OAuth application.

Client JWT Cert Password - (optional) – Enter the password for your client JWT certificate.

Client JWT Subject (optional) - Enter the subject of your client JWT certificate.
Complete Your Connection
To complete your connection:

Specify the following properties:

Default Catalog (optional) - Enter the name of your default catalog.

Workspace (optional) - Enter the name of the workspace with which you want to connect.

Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)

If you authenticate with OAuth, click Connect to CData Connect to connect to your CData Connect account.

Click Create & Test to create your connection.
