Basecamp
You can use the Basecamp connector from the CData Sync application to capture data from Basecamp and move it to any supported destination. To do so, you need to add the connector, authenticate to the connector, and complete your connection.
Establish a Connection
To allow Sync to use data from Basecamp, you first must establish a connection to Basecamp. Follow these steps to connect Basecamp to your Sync account:
-
Open the Connections page of the Sync dashboard.
-
Click Add Connection to open the Select Connectors page.
-
Click the Sources tab and locate the Basecamp row.
-
Click the Configure Connection icon at the end of that row. If you do not see the Configure Connection icon, you need to add the connector according to the instructions in Connections.
-
Enter connection settings on the Settings tab:
-
Connection Name - Enter a connection name of your choice.
-
Account Id - Enter the account identifier of the currently authenticated user. This Id is available in the URL after you log in to Basecamp (for example, http://basecamp.com/AccountId).
-
Schema - Select the Basecamp version with which you want to connect. The default version is V2.
-
Auth Scheme - Select the authentication scheme. The default setting is OAuth.
-
Project Id - Enter the project Id of the currently authenticated user.
-
-
Click Connect to Basecamp to connect to your Instagram account.
-
Click Create & Test to create the connection.
-
Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)
