You can define incoming and outgoing workflows without a document mapping in the TPMC.

For example, you might have an workflow where the document destination is a local disk. When you choose the destination connector, choose the File connector. See Select and Configure the Source or Destination Connector for detailed instructions.

Because there is no mapping component for connectors that use unstructured information, there is no Action tab in the connector configuration pane. When you choose the connector, you are taken directly to the Settings tab.

The following connectors do not use mapping:

• AMQP
• Apache Kafka
• File
