• Establish a Connection

You can use the SendGrid connector from the CData Sync application to capture data from SendGrid and move it to any supported destination. To do so, you need to add the connector, authenticate to the connector, and complete your connection.

Establish a Connection

To allow Sync to use data from SendGrid, you first must establish a connection to SendGrid. Follow these steps to connect SendGrid to your Sync account:

1. Open the Connections page of the Sync dashboard.

2. Click Add Connection to open the Select Connectors page.

3. Click the Sources tab and locate the SendGrid row.

4. Click the Configure Connection icon at the end of that row. If you do not see the Configure Connection icon, you need to add the connector according to the instructions in Connections.

5. Enter connection settings on the Settings tab:

   • Connection Name - Enter a connection name of your choice.

   • API Key - Enter your SendGrid API key. To obtain your key:

     1. Log into SendGrid.

     2. Select Click Settings > API keys > Create API Key. This selection opens a new page.

     3. Enter a name for your key in the API Key Name field.

     4. Select the permissions (either Full Access or Restricted Access) for your key in the API Key Permissions section.

     5. Click Create & View to create your key.

   • Schema - Enter the schema that you want to use for SendGrid. The default schema is NMC.

6. Click Connect to Yahoo Shopping to connect to your Yahoo Shopping account.

7. Click Create & Test to create the connection.
