Microsoft Ads
You can use the Microsoft Ads connector from the CData Sync application to capture data from Microsoft Ads and move it to any supported destination. To do so, you need to add the connector, authenticate to the connector, and complete your connection.
Establish a Connection
To allow Sync to use data from Microsoft Ads, you first must establish a connection to Microsoft Ads. Follow these steps to connect Microsoft Ads to your Sync account:
-
Open the Connections page of the Sync dashboard.
-
Click Add Connection to open the Select Connectors page.
-
Click the Sources tab and locate the Microsoft Ads row.
-
Click the Configure Connection icon at the end of that row. If you do not see the Configure Connection icon, you need to add the connector according to the instructions in Connections.
-
Enter connection settings on the Settings tab:
-
Connection Name - Enter a connection name of your choice.
-
Developer Token - Enter the developer token for the user that is currently authenticated. To obtain a developer token:
-
Log in to the Bing Ads Developer Portal as a Microsoft account user with the Microsoft Ads Super Admin role.
-
Click Request Token and copy that token to the Developer Token connection property.
-
-
Customer Id - Enter the customer Id for the user that is currently authenticated.
-
Account Id - Enter the Id of the account for which you want to obtain data.
-
-
Click Connect to BingAds to connect to your Microsoft Ads account.
-
Click Create & Test to create the connection.
-
Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)
