Parquet
You can use the Parquet connector from the CData Sync application to capture data from Parquet and move it to any supported destination. To do so, you need to add the connector, authenticate to the connector, and complete your connection.
Establish a Connection
To allow Sync to use data from Parquet, you first must establish a connection to Parquet. Follow these steps to connect Parquet to your Sync account:
-
Open the Connections page of the Sync dashboard.
-
Click Add Connection to open the Select Connectors page.
-
Click the Sources tab and locate the Parquet row.
-
Click the Configure Connection icon at the end of that row. If you do not see the Configure Connection icon, you need to add the connector according to the instructions in Connections.
-
Enter connection settings on the Settings tab:
-
Connection Name - Enter a connection name of your choice.
-
Auth Scheme - Select the authentication scheme. None is the default setting.
-
URI - Enter the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) for your Parquet resource location.
-
Connection Type - Select the connection type for your Parquet resources. The default type is Auto.
-
Data Model - Select the data model that you want to use for parsing Parquet documents and generating the database metadata. The default model type is Document.
-
Aggregate Files - Specify whether you want to aggregate files in the URI directory into a single result. The default value is False.
-
-
Click Create & Test to create the connection.
-
Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)
