Updating Records

You can use the RSSBus Excel Add-In for NetSuite to not only retrieve data from NetSuite, but also make changes to it. To make changes, simply edit the cells that you want to change, select the rows that you want to save, and click the Update Rows button. The add-in will save only the changes in the selected rows, so it is important to select a region before clicking the Update Rows button. You must enable data modification options for the connection to save changes. See Retrieving Data for details.

Note: Not all cells can be updated; read-only cells are marked in their column headers. Also, business rules in NetSuite may prevent you from making certain changes.
