Remarks

Set this connection property if you want to connect to your SAP installation via a specific SAP Gateway server.

If not specified, the driver attempts to connect to the SAP system specified by the Host connection property.

For JCo streaming reads, this property also identifies the SAP Gateway where the callback server registers. The gateway must match the Gateway Host configured in SAP SM59 for CallBackDestination. If neither this property nor Host provides a gateway host, set this property explicitly.

When using GroupServer, do not set Host solely to supply a gateway address: a nonempty Host selects an application-server connection instead of a message-server connection. Set this property when you need to provide the callback gateway without changing the logon configuration.
