Connecting to Printful

Printful uses token authentication to control access to the API.

Using Token Authentication

In order to authenticate to Printful, you'll need to provide your API Key. To get your API Key, first go to 'Settings' then 'Stores'. Select the Store you would like to connect to, then click the 'Add API Access' button to generate an API Key. Set the API Key in the ProfileSettings property to connect.

Example connection string

Profile=C:\profiles\Printful.apip;ProfileSettings='APIKey=my_api_key';

Working with Multiple Stores

If your Printful account manages more than one store, such as when you are using an account-level access token, set the StoreId connection property to the numeric ID of the store you want to query or modify data for. The driver sends this value using the X-PF-Store-Id request header. If StoreId is left unset, Printful applies the account's default authorized store.

You can find a store's numeric ID in the Stores section of your Printful account dashboard, or in the Id column returned by the Store table.

Example connection string

Profile=C:\profiles\Printful.apip;ProfileSettings='APIKey=my_api_key;StoreId=1234567';
