Connecting to ShipEngine

ShipEngine uses token authentication to control access to its service.

Using Token Authentication

In order to authenticate to ShipEngine, find your ShipEngine API keys in the Dashboard at https://app.shipengine.com/#/portal/apimanagement. You can then set your ShipEngine API Key as the APIKey in the ProfileSettings connection property.

Example connection string

Profile=C:\profiles\ShipEngine.apip;ProfileSettings='APIKey=my_api_key';
