Connecting to Hive

Hive uses Token authentication to control access to its API.

Using Token Authentication

In order to authenticate to Hive, you'll need to provide your API Key and UserId. To get those, log into your Hive account, go to the main menu in the top right, and select the "API Information". Set both the API Key and UserId in the ProfileSettings property to connect.

Example connection string

Profile=C:\profiles\Hive.apip;ProfileSettings='APIKey=my_api_key;UserId=my_user_id';
