Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to SAS Data Sets and configure any necessary connection properties from the Connection Manager window.
You can also configure component capabilities through the available Connection properties, from data modeling to firewall traversal. The Advanced Settings section shows how to set up more advanced configurations and troubleshoot connection errors.
SSIS Version Support
The CData SSIS Components for SASDataSets provide data flow components that allow for straightforward integration with SAS Data Sets data from SSIS data flow tasks. SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2019 are supported including their corresponding version of SQL Server Data Tools.

The component models SASDataSets instances as relational databases and supports SASDataSets version ?. The component leverages the SASDataSets API, including the SASDataSets aggregation framework, to enable bidirectional SQL access to SASDataSets data. See the NoSQL Database chapter for SQL-to-SASDataSets query mappings and more information about accessing unstructured data in SASDataSets through SQL.
- Using the Source Component: Pull SAS Data Sets data into your data flow task.
