MCP Server for Microsoft Dataverse

Build 25.0.9440

Data Model

The CData MCP Server for Microsoft Dataverse models Microsoft Dataverse data as an easy-to-use SQL database with tables, views, and stored procedures. The definitions are dynamically obtained from the Microsoft Dataverse OData service you connect to. You can load changes to the metadata, such as new or removed columns, or changes in data type, by reconnecting to the service.

The server exposes two data models:

  • The Entities Data Model describes the schemas available to connect to Microsoft Dataverse. You can use tables to work with live Microsoft Dataverse data.
  • The System Data Model defines the underlying framework that supports core platform functionality, including security, auditing, and system-level operations.

You can use the stored procedures provided by CData MCP Server for Microsoft Dataverse to automate working with Microsoft Dataverse data.
