Procedure for Updates

You can use odbc_exec to execute data modification statements. This will return a resource which contains the number of affected rows.

INSERT

To insert updates:

$result = odbc_exec($cnx, "INSERT INTO Cards (ListId) VALUES ('614060a64bf2e765da7bd43f')");
$affected = odbc_num_rows($result);

UPDATE

To retrieve updates:

$result = odbc_exec($cnx, "UPDATE Cards SET ListId = '614060a64bf2e765da7bd43f' WHERE CardId = '614060b2c37da423f30dc7d6'");
$affected = odbc_num_rows($result);

DELETE

To delete updates:

$result = odbc_exec($cnx, "DELETE FROM Cards WHERE CardId = '5835594ee009411c6abdbfbd'");
$affected = odbc_num_rows($result);
