Update-Asana Cmdlet

Parameters   Output Objects

Updates Asana data.

Syntax

Update-Asana [parameters]

Remarks

The Update-Asana cmdlet allows you to use a syntax similar to SQL UPDATE statements to update Asana data.

$conn = Connect-Asana -InitiateoAuth "GETANDREFRESH" -OAuthClientId "YourClientId" -OAuthClientSecret "YourClientSecret" -CallbackURL "http://localhost:33333"
Update-Asana -Connection $conn -Table "projects" -Columns @("WorkspaceId") -Values @("Jon Doe") -Id "1128092964672848"
The Where parameter can also be used to specify the primary key of the table:
Update-Asana -Connection $conn -Table "projects" -Columns @("WorkspaceId") -Values @("Jon Doe") -Where "Id = '1128092964672848'"
The primary key can also be passed to the cmdlet along the pipeline:
Select-Asana -Connection $conn -Table projects -Where "Archived = 'true'" | Update-Asana -Columns @("Archived") -Values @("true 2")
