Connecting to Apache Phoenix

Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to Apache Phoenix and configure any necessary connection properties. Connecting from Visual Studio

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Apache Phoenix provides a seamless integration with Microsoft Visual Studio. The provider is registered as an ADO.NET provider with Visual Studio, allowing for integration with visual designer tools, Server Explorer, and ADO.NET data source configuration wizards.

Visual Studio Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Apache Phoenix supports Visual Studio versions 2012 and above.

.NET Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Apache Phoenix supports .NET Framework 4.0 and above as well as .NET Standard 2.0.

Apache Phoenix Version Support

The provider leverages version 1.23.0 of the Apache Calcite Avatica protocol buffers to enable connectivity to Apache Phoenix via the Phoenix Query Server.
