CData Python Connector for Talkdesk

Build 26.0.9770

ReportQueryTimeout

The maximum number of seconds a report query may run before it times out, or -1 to run with no timeout.

Data Type

int

Default Value

-1

Remarks

Report tables (such as CallsReport and CallQueuesReport) are retrieved by submitting one or more asynchronous report jobs to Talkdesk, waiting for each to finish generating, and downloading the results. This property bounds the total time the connector spends on a single report query, measured from when the query begins executing.

The timeout applies to the whole query, not to each report job individually. When a date range wider than 31 days is requested, the range is split into several report jobs (see MaxBatchReportJobs) and the elapsed time is tracked across all of them; the query fails if the limit is reached while a report is still being generated or downloaded.

The default is -1, which lets the query run without a timeout. This is the recommended setting, because report generation time varies with the amount of data in the requested range and a fixed limit can be hard to choose. Set a positive number of seconds to enforce a timeout; a value of 0 or less is treated the same as -1.
