Contact and address details about known shipment senders. This table is initially empty and must be populated by user action. Stored Procedures may then retrieve this information as input via Id references. All shipments will need a sender specified for them.

The following stored procedures will rely on input from this table:

  • CalculateRates
  • GenerateLabels
  • GenerateReturnLabels
  • PickupAvailability
  • SchedulePickup


In order to add a Sender, one must specify FirstName, LastName, Company, Phone, Address1, City, State, ZipCode, and CountryCode. See the example below:

INSERT INTO Senders (FirstName, LastName, Company, Phone, Address1, City, State, ZipCode, CountryCode) VALUES ('John', 'Doe', 'Sample Company', '336-111-0377', '2401 Address St', 'Chapel Hill', 'NC', '27517', 'US')
One may specify a SenderId on creation. However, if one is not provided, then a SenderId be auto-generated.
