Tableau Connector for Amazon S3

Build 26.0.9770

Objects

Lists the objects stored in a bucket, including each object's key, size, last-modified time, and owner.

View-Specific Information

SELECT

The connector uses the Amazon S3 API to process filter criteria that reference the Object and Bucket columns, and processes all other filters client-side within the connector. For example, the following queries are processed server-side:
SELECT * FROM Objects WHERE Object = 'TestObject'

SELECT * FROM Objects WHERE Bucket = 'TestBucket'

SELECT * FROM Objects WHERE Object = 'TestObject' AND Bucket = 'TestBucket'

To list objects across every bucket configured in the

Buckets
connection property in a single query, use the
AllObjects
view in the
Information
schema.

This view is read-only. To add an object to Amazon S3, use the UploadObject stored procedure; to remove an object, use the DeleteObject stored procedure.
