Use this property to limit the schemas exposed in

to only those buckets located in the specified AWS region (for example, us-east-1). The restriction applies both to the per-bucket schemas and to the buckets included in the federated

schema.

This property is a visibility filter applied when schemas are listed. It does not change where a bucket is stored or how requests are signed. Do not confuse it with the

BucketRegion

column, which reports the region a bucket already belongs to: BucketLocation determines which buckets appear as schemas, whereas

BucketRegion

reports each bucket's actual region.
