Connecting to Amazon S3

Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to Amazon S3 and configure any necessary connection properties. Connecting from Visual Studio

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Amazon S3 provides a seamless integration with Microsoft Visual Studio. The provider is registered as an ADO.NET provider with Visual Studio, allowing for integration with visual designer tools, Server Explorer, and ADO.NET data source configuration wizards.

Visual Studio Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Amazon S3 supports Visual Studio versions 2012 and above.

.NET Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Amazon S3 supports .NET Framework 4.0 and above as well as .NET Standard 2.0.

Amazon S3 Version Support

The provider leverages the Amazon S3 API to enable bidirectional access to Amazon S3.
