Using OAuth Authentication
The OpenId Connect / OAuth 2.0 authentication scheme requires the authenticating user to interact with the Azure AD authorization server using the browser. The adapter facilitates this as described below.
To obtain the OAuthClientId and OAuthClientSecret necessary for the authorization flow, you can use your already existing Azure AD app that you have previously created to configure the Azure AD Authentication Provider for your Veeva Vault data source .
Prior to using your custom OAuth app, you would need to update it to include a redirect url so the adapter can retrieve the verifier code from the browser and complete the authorization flow. See Updating your Custom OAuth App for a procedure. Then, you can follow the Custom Credentials guide to complete the authorization flow and establish a connection with the Veeva Vault data source.
