Configure a Connection Profile

From the CData ribbon, click Get Data and select From IBM Cloud Data Engine connection/s to launch the CData Query window. To setup a new connection, you will have to click the New IBM Cloud Data Engine Connection button. Here you can set the connection settings, test the connection, and save the connection profile.

Authenticating to IBM Cloud Data Engine (OAuth)

OAuth authentication does not require any interaction with the browser to use the IBM Cloud Data Engine. The add-in facilitates this process as described in Connecting to IBM Cloud
