Connecting to IBM Cloud Data Engine

Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to IBM Cloud Data Engine and configure any necessary connection properties. Connecting from Visual Studio

The CData ADO.NET Provider for IBM Cloud Data Engine provides a seamless integration with Microsoft Visual Studio. The provider is registered as an ADO.NET provider with Visual Studio, allowing for integration with visual designer tools, Server Explorer, and ADO.NET data source configuration wizards.

Visual Studio Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for IBM Cloud Data Engine supports Visual Studio versions 2012 and above.

.NET Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for IBM Cloud Data Engine supports .NET Framework 4.0 and above as well as .NET Standard 2.0.

IBM Cloud Data Engine Version Support

The provider leverages the IBM Cloud Data Engine API to enable bidirectional access to IBM Cloud.
