SELECT INTO Statements

You can use the SELECT INTO statement to export formatted data to a file.

Data Export with an SQL Query

The following query exports data into a file formatted in comma-separated values (CSV):

boolean ret = stat.execute("SELECT Id, Status INTO [csv://c:/[CloudObjectStorage_1].[SampleBucket_1].Jobs.txt] FROM [[CloudObjectStorage_1].[SampleBucket_1].Jobs] WHERE UserId = '[email protected]'");
System.out.println(stat.getUpdateCount()+" rows affected");
You can specify other file formats in the URI. The following example exports tab-separated values:
Statement stat = conn.createStatement();
boolean ret = stat.execute("SELECT * INTO [[CloudObjectStorage_1].[SampleBucket_1].Jobs] IN 'csv://filename=c:/[CloudObjectStorage_1].[SampleBucket_1].Jobs.csv;delimiter=tab' FROM [[CloudObjectStorage_1].[SampleBucket_1].Jobs] WHERE UserId = '[email protected]'");
System.out.println(stat.getUpdateCount()+" rows affected");
