Connecting to Microsoft Excel

Other available connection properties can be used to configure other aspects of the connector capabilities.
Python Version Support
The CData Python Connector for Microsoft Excel can be installed and used in various Python 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, and 3.11 distributions.
Microsoft Excel Version Support
The CData Python Connector for Microsoft Excel supports the Office Open XML spreadsheets used by Microsoft Excel 2007 and later.Microsoft Excel File Extension Support
The CData Python Connector for Microsoft Excel currently supports .xlsx and .xlsm files. However, only read operations are supported for .xlsm files. Modifying data operations may cause loss of or damage to macros.
