This field sets whether the adapter will attempt to negotiate TLS/SSL connections to the server. By default, the adapter checks the server's certificate against the system's trusted certificate store. To specify another certificate, set SSLServerCert. 'Strict' encryption enforces good security practices and makes SQL Server traffic manageable by standard network appliances.
