Select

The following filters support server-side execution. Other filters are executed client-side.

QuickBooks allows only a small subset of columns to be used in the WHERE clause of a SELECT query. These columns can only be used with the equals or = comparison. The available columns for the Vehicles table are Id, Name, IsActive, and TimeModified. TimeModified may be used with the >, >=, <, <=, or = conditions and may be used twice to specify a range. Name may be used with the = or LIKE conditions to establish a starts-with, ends-with, or contains syntax. For example:

SELECT * FROM Vehicles WHERE TimeModified > '1/1/2011' AND TimeModified < '2/1/2011' AND Name LIKE '%Truck%'

Insert

To insert a Vehicle, specify the Name column. The Description and IsActive columns are optional.

INSERT INTO Vehicles (Name, Description) VALUES ('Company Truck', 'Main delivery vehicle')

Update

Any writable column can be updated by specifying the Id.

UPDATE Vehicles SET Description = 'Updated description' WHERE Id = '80000001-1234567890'

Delete

Vehicles can be deleted by specifying the Id and EditSequence.

DELETE FROM Vehicles WHERE Id = '80000001-1234567890' AND EditSequence = '1234567890'
