After コネクタのインストール you can connect and create a Data Source for data within QuickBooks Online.

Setting Up a Data Source

Complete the following steps to connect to the data:

1. Under Connect | To a Server, click More....
2. Select the data source called QuickBooks Online by CData.
3. Enter the information required for the connection.
4. Click Sign In.
5. If necessary, select a Database and Schema to discover what tables and views are available.

Connection Builder の使用

The connector makes the most common connection properties available directly within Tableau. However, it can be difficult to use if you need to use more advanced settings or need to troubleshoot connection issues. The connector comes with a separate connection builder that allows you to create and test connections outside of Tableau.

Connection Builder にアクセスする方法は2つあります。

• Windows では、スタートメニューのCData Tableau Connector for QuickBooks Online フォルダの下に［Connection Builder］というショートカットが表示されます。
• また、ドライバーのインストールディレクトリに移動し、lib ディレクトリで.jar ファイルを実行することによってもConnection Builder を開始できます。

QuickBooks Online への認証

QuickBooks Online はOAuth 認証標準を利用しています。Embedded Credentials を使用すると、接続プロパティを設定せずに接続できます。接続すると、connector はデフォルトブラウザでOAuth エンドポイントを開きます。ログインして、アプリケーションにアクセス許可を与えるだけです。connector がOAuth プロセスを完了します。
