Connecting to Google Sheets
Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to Google Sheets and configure any necessary connection properties from the Connection Manager window.
You can also configure component capabilities through the available Connection properties, from data modeling to firewall traversal. The Advanced Features section shows how to set up more advanced configurations and troubleshoot connection errors.
Visual Studio Version Support
The CData SSIS Components for Google Sheets supports Visual Studio versions 2015 and above.
SSIS Version Support
The CData SSIS Components for Google Sheets provide data flow components that allow for straightforward integration with Google Sheets data from SSIS data flow tasks. SQL Server 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2025 are supported including their corresponding version of SQL Server Data Tools.
Google Sheets Version Support
The component leverages two APIs: the Google Sheets API v4 for reading and writing spreadsheet cell data, and the Google Drive API v3 for file-level operations such as listing, uploading, downloading, and deleting files, moving files to the trash, and managing sharing and visibility.
