The CData ODBC Driver for Apache HBase is a standards-based ODBC driver with editions for Windows and Unix-based operating systems, like macOS and Linux. The following sections show how to create an ODBC data source and query data.

Creating a DSN on Your Platform

Apache HBase Version Support

The driver models HBase data as a read/write, relational database. The driver can connect to HBase REST Server 0.0.3, available in HBase version 0.98 and above.
