Build 24.0.9060

Getting Started

Connecting to OData

Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to OData and configure any necessary connection properties in a JDBC URL. You can also configure driver capabilities through the available Connection properties, from data modeling to firewall traversal. The Advanced Settings section shows how to set up more advanced configurations and troubleshoot connection errors.

Connecting to JDBC Data Sources

The CData JDBC Driver for OData provides full support for integration into Java applications, including Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ IDEA, and many other Integrated Development Environments, as well as J2EE applications running on a Java server such as Tomcat. You can find JSP, console, and swing demos in the installation folder.

Java Version Support

To deploy the driver JAR file, you must have Java Development Kit (JDK) 1.8 or higher installed on your system.

OData Version Support

The driver is a standard OData consumer that can read and write to OData 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0 services. The major authentication schemes are supported, including HTTP Basic, Digest, and NTLM, as well as SSL/TLS. The driver also facilitates connecting to data sources that use the OAuth authentication standard.
