Update-Cassandra Cmdlet

Parameters   Output Objects

Updates Cassandra data.

Syntax

Update-Cassandra [parameters]

Remarks

The Update-Cassandra cmdlet allows you to use a syntax similar to SQL UPDATE statements to update Cassandra data.

$conn = Connect-Cassandra -Database 'MyCassandraDB' -Port 9042 -Server '127.0.0.1'
Update-Cassandra -Connection $conn -Table "`"CData`".`"Sample`".Products" -Columns @("Name") -Values @("Jon Doe") -Id "1"
The Where parameter can also be used to specify the primary key of the table:
Update-Cassandra -Connection $conn -Table "`"CData`".`"Sample`".Products" -Columns @("Name") -Values @("Jon Doe") -Where "Id = '1'"
The primary key can also be passed to the cmdlet along the pipeline:
Select-Cassandra -Connection $conn -Table "CData"."Sample".Products -Where "Industry = 'Floppy Disks'" | Update-Cassandra -Columns @("Industry") -Values @("Floppy Disks 2")
