Connecting to SAP Ariba
Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to SAP Ariba and configure any necessary connection properties. You can also configure provider capabilities through the available Connection properties, from data modeling to firewall traversal. The Advanced Settings section shows how to set up more advanced configurations and troubleshoot connection errors.
Connecting from Visual Studio
The CData ADO.NET Provider for SAP Ariba Procurement provides a seamless integration with Microsoft Visual Studio. The provider is registered as an ADO.NET provider with Visual Studio, allowing for integration with visual designer tools, Server Explorer, and ADO.NET data source configuration wizards.
Visual Studio Version Support
The CData ADO.NET Provider for SAP Ariba Procurement supports Visual Studio versions 2012 and above.
.NET Version Support
The CData ADO.NET Provider for SAP Ariba Procurement supports .NET Framework 4.0 and above as well as .NET Standard 2.0.
SAP Ariba Version Support
The provider leverages V1 of the SAP Ariba Purchase Orders Buyer API and Purchase Orders Supplier API to enable access to SAP Ariba data.
