The CData ODBC Driver for Sybase is a standards-based ODBC driver with editions for Windows and Unix-based operating systems, like macOS and Linux. The following sections show how to create an ODBC data source and query data.

Creating a DSN on Your Platform

The following guides show how to use the standard tools to configure data source names (DSN).

Sybase Version Support

The driver enables connectivity to Sybase Database (SAP Adaptive Server) through the TDS protocol. ASE Versions 12, 15, and 16 are supported. Connecting to Sybase SQL Anywhere or Sybase IQ are not supported in this driver.
