ODBC Driver for Snowflake

Build 24.0.9060

Getting Started

The CData ODBC Driver for Snowflake is a standards-based ODBC driver with editions for Windows and Unix-based operating systems, like macOS and Linux. The following sections show how to create an ODBC data source and query data.

Creating a DSN on Your Platform

The following guides show how to use the standard tools to configure data source names (DSN).

Snowflake Version Support

The driver enables standards-based access to all Snowflake editions. You can authenticate with a Snowflake user, SSO, or SSL client authentication. After authenticating, you can execute standard SQL queries to Snowflake tables or set QueryPassthrough to use any of the available Snowflake SQL syntax. For example, you can use extended projection to project columns over semistructured data.
