Remarks

The provider retrieves result pages sequentially and places them in a client-side prefetch queue while the current page is consumed. This property controls the maximum number of pages held in that queue.

The default value is 2. Set this property to a whole number from 1 through 16. A lower value reduces memory usage, while a higher value can help maintain result throughput when consuming rows quickly. Because the amount of data in each page is determined by Presto, actual memory usage varies by query.

Changing this property does not increase fetch concurrency. The provider continues to retrieve pages one at a time.
