Connecting to Lakebase

Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to Lakebase and configure any necessary connection properties. You can also configure provider capabilities through the available Connection properties, from data modeling to firewall traversal. Connecting from Visual Studio

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Lakebase provides a seamless integration with Microsoft Visual Studio. The provider is registered as an ADO.NET provider with Visual Studio, allowing for integration with visual designer tools, Server Explorer, and ADO.NET data source configuration wizards.

Visual Studio Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Lakebase supports Visual Studio versions 2012 and above.

.NET Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Lakebase supports .NET Framework 4.0 and above as well as .NET Standard 2.0.

Lakebase Version Support

The provider aligns with modern Postgres version 14 or higher.
