Miscellaneous

This section provides a complete list of the Miscellaneous properties you can configure in the connection settings for this provider.

PropertyDescription
AllowDuplicateRecordsNotes whether or not the driver will permit the adding of duplicate records during INSERT operations. To create the record (or update it if a duplicate is found), set this to true. To avoid adding duplicate records, set this to false.
BatchSizeSpecifies the maximum number of rows included in each batch submitted during batch operations. To submit the entire batch as a single request, set BatchSize to 0 .
ConnectOnOpenSpecifies whether the provider establishes a connection to Microsoft Dynamics 365 immediately upon opening the connection. Set ConnectOnOpen to True if immediate connectivity verification is necessary.
ContinueOnErrorSpecifies whether batch requests should continue after encountering an error. (OData 4.0 and higher only.).
CrossCompanySpecifies whether data should be pulled only the user's default company, or for all companies. (FinOpsOnline, FinOpsOnPremise, or HumanResources only.).
CustomURLParamsA string of custom URL parameters to be included with the HTTP request, in the form field1=value1&field2=value2&field3=value3.
DefaultDomainThis property is used for the Oracle Database Gateway for ODBC.
EnableAtomicBatchOperationsThis property indicates that all Create, Update, and Delete (CUD) requests in a batch are handled as a single action. The success of the entire batch depends on the outcome of all requests. If any single request fails, the whole batch fails and no changes are applied.
EnableForeignKeyDetectionWhether to detect the foreign keys in ODBC.
EntityTypesWhen using entity definitions define what type of entities to include during metadata discovery.
IncludeDualTableSet this property to mock the Oracle DUAL table for better compatibility with Oracle database.
IncludeFormattedValuesSpecifies whether columns that hold formatted values should be exposed.
IncludeLookUpLogicalNameIndicates if the referenced entity name for a LookUp field should be exposed.
IncludeNavigationKeysSpecifies whether the column listing should include the primary keys of navigation properties. (JSON responses only).
IncludeNavigationPropertiesSpecifies whether the column listing should include navigation properties.
LimitKeySizeThe maximum length of a primary key column.
MapBigintToVarcharThis property controls whether or not the bigint type maps to SQL_VARCHAR instead of SQL_BIGINT. This property is false by default.
MapToIntThis property controls whether or not the long type maps to SQL_INTEGER instead of SQL_BIGINT. This property is false by default.
MapToLongVarcharThis property controls whether or not a column is returned as SQL_LONGVARCHAR.
MapToWVarcharThis property controls whether or not string types map to SQL_WVARCHAR instead of SQL_VARCHAR. This property is set by default.
MaximumColumnSizeThe maximum column size.
MaxRowsSpecifies the maximum number of rows returned for queries that do not include either aggregation or GROUP BY.
MinimumColumnSizeSpecifies the minimum size, in characters, for Edm.String columns. If Microsoft Dynamics 365 reports a smaller size, the provider uses this value instead.
OtherSpecifies additional hidden properties for specific use cases., to be used only when our Support team advises it, to address specific issues. See Remarks for details.
PagesizeSpecifies the maximum number of records per page the provider returns when requesting data from Microsoft Dynamics 365.
PseudoColumnsSpecifies the pseudocolumns to expose as table columns, expressed as a string in the format 'TableName=ColumnName;TableName=ColumnName'.
ReadonlyToggles read-only access to Microsoft Dynamics 365 from the provider.
RTKSpecifies the runtime key for licensing the provider. If unset or invalid, the provider defaults to the standard licensing method. This property is only required in environments where the standard licensing method is unsupported or requires a runtime key.
TimeoutSpecifies the maximum time, in seconds, that the provider waits for a server response before throwing a timeout error.
UpperCaseIdentifiersThis property reports all identifiers in uppercase. This is the default for Oracle databases and thus allows better integration with Oracle tools such as the Oracle Database Gateway.
UseClientSidePagingSpecifies whether or not Microsoft Dynamics 365 should return data using client-side paging, if your source supports it. To use client-side paging, set this to True. To use server-side paging, set this to False.
UseDynamicStoredProceduresSpecifies whether or not stored procedures are listed dynamically.
UseEntityDefinitionsSpecifies that queries should use entity definition metadata endpoints, rather than the standard $metadata endpoint.
UserDefinedViewsSpecifies a filepath to a JSON configuration file that defines custom views. The provider automatically detects and uses the views specified in this file.
