Connecting to SAS Data Sets

Python Version Support

The CData Python Connector for SAS Data Sets can be installed and used in various Python 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, and 3.11 distributions.

SAS Data Sets Version Support

The connector reads tabular data (observations and variables) from local SAS7BDAT files created for SAS versions 7.0-9.4 to enable bidirectional SQL access to SAS Data Sets data.
