The CData ODBC Driver for SAS Data Sets is a standards-based ODBC driver with editions for Windows and Unix-based operating systems, like macOS and Linux. The following sections show how to create an ODBC data source and query data.

The driver reads tabular data (observations and variables) from local SAS7BDAT files created for SAS versions 7.0-9.4 to enable bidirectional SQL access to SAS Data Sets data.
