Miscellaneous
This section provides a complete list of the Miscellaneous properties you can configure in the connection settings for this provider.
Property | Description |
BatchSize | The maximum size of each batch operation to submit. |
Charset | Specifies the session character set for encoding and decoding character data transferred to and from the SAS Data Sets file. The default value is UTF-8. |
ClientCulture | This property can be used to specify the format of data (e.g., currency values) that is accepted by the client application. This property can be used when the client application does not support the machine's culture settings. For example, Microsoft Access requires 'en-US'. |
Culture | This setting can be used to specify culture settings that determine how the provider interprets certain data types that are passed into the provider. For example, setting Culture='de-DE' will output German formats even on an American machine. |
DefaultDomain | This property is used for the Oracle Database Gateway for ODBC. |
DeleteDownloadedFiles | When set to true, the provider will delete parsed .sas7bdat files downloaded from cloud sources. |
DirectoryRetrievalDepth | Limit the subfolders recursively scanned when IncludeSubdirectories is enabled. |
EnableForeignKeyDetection | Whether to detect the foreign keys in ODBC. |
ExcludeFiles | Comma-separated list of file extensions to exclude from the set of the files modeled as tables. |
FolderId | The ID of a folder in Google Drive. If set, the resource location specified by the URI is relative to the Folder ID for all operations. |
IncludeDropboxTeamResources | Indicates if you want to include Dropbox team files and folders. |
IncludeDualTable | Set this property to mock the Oracle DUAL table for better compatibility with Oracle database. |
IncludeFiles | Comma-separated list of file extensions to include into the set of the files modeled as tables. |
IncludeItemsFromAllDrives | Whether Google Drive shared drive items should be included in results. If not present or set to false, then shared drive items are not returned. |
IncludeSubdirectories | Whether to read files from nested folders. In the case of a name collision, table names are prefixed by the underscore-separated folder names. |
LimitKeySize | The maximum length of a primary key column. |
MapBigintToVarchar | This property controls whether or not the bigint type maps to SQL_VARCHAR instead of SQL_BIGINT. This property is false by default. |
MapToInt | This property controls whether or not the long type maps to SQL_INTEGER instead of SQL_BIGINT. This property is false by default. |
MapToLongVarchar | This property controls whether or not a column is returned as SQL_LONGVARCHAR. |
MapToWVarchar | This property controls whether or not string types map to SQL_WVARCHAR instead of SQL_VARCHAR. This property is set by default. |
MaximumColumnSize | The maximum column size. |
MaxRows | Limits the number of rows returned when no aggregation or GROUP BY is used in the query. This takes precedence over LIMIT clauses. |
Other | These hidden properties are used only in specific use cases. |
PseudoColumns | Specify a set of pseudocolumns to expose as columns. |
Readonly | You can use this property to enforce read-only access to SAS Data Sets from the provider. |
RTK | The runtime key used for licensing. |
TemporaryLocalFolder | The path, or URI, to the folder that is used to temporarily download SAS file(s). |
Timeout | The value in seconds until the timeout error is thrown, canceling the operation. |
UpperCaseIdentifiers | This property reports all identifiers in uppercase. This is the default for Oracle databases and thus allows better integration with Oracle tools such as the Oracle Database Gateway. |
UserDefinedViews | A filepath pointing to the JSON configuration file containing your custom views. |
