Creating an OAuth App

Perform the following steps to generate an OAuth app and its associated credentials:

1. Log in to your user account.
2. Navigate to the App management page.
3. Click Create App.
4. Give the OAuth application a descriptive name. Make note and save Client ID and Client Secret as you will not be able to see the Client Secret again and click on Create and Continue
5. Under Scopes, specify the scopes that your app will request. Ensure that accounts:read is included as it is a required as it is required to successfully establish a connection.
6. Specify a callback URL, which can be any localhost URL (such as http://localhost:33333), in the Redirect URLs field.
7. Under Company details, you can optionally specify your company information.
8. Under App Listing, Provide information about your app. When your app is published, this information will be displayed on your app listing.
9. Click Save.

Note: Even if you have not submitted the app for review (i.e the Oauth Application is still in Draft mode) you can use this app for Authenticating to Klaviyo.
