Specifies the authentication method the provider uses when authenticating to the proxy server specified in the ProxyServer connection property.

Remarks

Note: The provider only uses this ProxyAuthScheme when ProxyAutoDetect is set to False. If ProxyAutoDetect is set to True (the default), the provider instead uses the authentication method specified in your system proxy settings.

Supported authentication types :

• BASIC: The provider performs HTTP basic authentication.
• DIGEST: The provider performs HTTP digest authentication.
• NTLM: The provider retrieves an NTLM token.
• NEGOTIATE: The provider retrieves an NTLM or Kerberos token based on the applicable protocol for authentication.
• NONE: Signifies that the ProxyServer does not require authentication.

For all values other than NONE, you must also set the ProxyUser and ProxyPassword connection properties.
