Remarks
The Update-ReckonAccountsHosted cmdlet allows you to use a syntax similar to SQL UPDATE statements to update Reckon Accounts Hosted data.
$conn = Connect-ReckonAccountsHosted -SubscriptionKey "test" -CountryVersion "2021.R2.AU" -CompanyFile "Q:/CData Software.QBW" -User "test" -Password "test" -InitiateOAuth "GETANDREFRESH" -CallbackURL "http://localhost:33333" -OAuthClientId "MyOAuthClientID" -OAuthClientSecret "MyOAuthClientSecret"
Update-ReckonAccountsHosted -Connection $conn -Table "Customers" -Columns @("Name") -Values @("Trujilo, Ana") -Id "10456255-0015501366"
The Where parameter can also be used to specify the primary key of the table:
Update-ReckonAccountsHosted -Connection $conn -Table "Customers" -Columns @("Name") -Values @("Trujilo, Ana") -Where "Id = '10456255-0015501366'"
The primary key can also be passed to the cmdlet along the pipeline:
Select-ReckonAccountsHosted -Connection $conn -Table Customers -Where "Name = 'Cook, Brian'" | Update-ReckonAccountsHosted -Columns @("Name") -Values @("Cook, Brian 2")
