A SELECT statement can consist of the following basic clauses.

Examples

Return all columns:

```

Rename a column:

SELECT "AddressLines" AS MY_AddressLines FROM Constituents

Cast a column's data as a different data type:

SELECT CAST(AnnualRevenue AS VARCHAR) AS Str_AnnualRevenue FROM Constituents

Search data:

SELECT * FROM Constituents WHERE Type = 'Home'

The Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT APIs support the following operators in the WHERE clause: =, AND, >=, <=, IN, >, <.

Return the number of items matching the query criteria:

Return the number of unique items matching the query criteria:

Sort a result set in ascending order:
